Below are some NDSBMCP upcoming credit opportunities.  If you come across additional trainings that are not on the list, please email me them and I will let you know if they will count for affiliate/continuing education credit.

DPI Business Manager Q & A

The NDDPI will be having a TEAMS meeting for WebGrants external user questions and training on Wednesday, June 15, at 9:00 a.m. CDT.

  • Questions should pertain to:
    • General fiscal (UGG) guidance
    • NDFARMS Coding
    • Technical aspects of WebGrants

We will not go through specific program allowability as those questions should be directed to program managers.

DPI Back to School Drilldown for School Leaders – SAVE THE DATE

8:00 – 4:00 p.m.

This one-day workshop will provide critical information for superintendents, principals, business managers, secretaries, or anyone else who completes the many required reports at the beginning of the school year.

NDSBA Lunch & Learn: School Finance – June 15 @ 9 a.m.
NDSBMCP students can receive credit for attending or viewing the recordings for the NDSBA Lunch and Learn webinars.  Each webinar is worth ½ credit.  Recordings and information about future webinars can be found at

NDDPI and NDSBA to Host Board Member Bootcamp – July 18, 2022
NDSBMCP students can receive one credit for attending the face-to-face School Board Member Bootcamp.  On July 18, 2022, the NDDPI and North Dakota School Boards Association (NDSBA) will once again team up to host a one-day school board member training. The training will allow board members to gain information and updates pertaining to current educational topics. New and veteran board members are encouraged to take part in the bootcamp. The bootcamp is free and will take place at the state capitol in Bismarck. The registration link can be found here. Watch for more details in the NDDPI Weekly Blast or NDSBA monthly bulletin. NDASBM Spring Workshop – May 4 & 5 Recording
NDSBMCP students can receive up to 1 ½ credits for viewing the NDASBM Spring Workshop recordings from May 4 and 5 at

Title I Schoolwide and Targeted Assistance Training – Wednesday, September 21 – REGISTRATION INFORMATION COMING AT LATER DATE
NDSBMCP students can receive one credit for attending the Title I Schoolwide and Targeted Assistance Training.  New Title I personnel and those needing a refresher are strongly encouraged to attend this one day training in Bismarck from 8:30 – 3:30. It is required for any school interested in participating in the Schoolwide Planning Year. This training includes information pertaining to the Title I requirements, best practices, and resources.  Students must complete the 
Affiliate/Continuing Education Credit Form and email to me at rebecca.duben@ndsba.org to receive credit.  Include the credit name, date of credit, credit available, your signature and the date you signed.  I will verify for the event staff section on the form.

NDSBMCP Retake of Summer Courses:

School Elections  – 1 credit
Audit Preparation and Internal Controls – 1.5 credits

Graduate students may retake any of the NDSBMCP offered courses for credit. Students must have completed and received a passing grade in the course to retake.  Students retaking a class for continuing education credit will receive a discounted rate and continuing education credit. The registration deadline is July 1, 2022.

To receive credit, students will need to email a paragraph to me on what they learned from retaking the class. Students will be given six months to view the class recording(s) and complete the writing assignment. Students retaking the course do not need to complete the class assignments.
