NORTH DAKOTA SCHOOL BUSINESS MANAGERS CERTIFICATION PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Approved in 2013 by the North Dakota School Boards Association (NDSBA) Delegate Assembly and by the North Dakota Association of School Business Managers (NDASBM) Board of Directors, this program is administered by NDSBA in partnership with NDASBM. A curriculum committee oversees program planning. Instructors are selected by the the Curriculum Committee and are practitioners and/or experts in the fields of school business management, legal services, school administration, financial management, and other fields. The program is funded through a grant appropriated by the North Dakota Legislature and by tuition paid by participating school districts.

Available Classes
New member training will be held August 31 and September 1 in Bismarck at the Career Academy for first-year students. Courses to be taught include: Business Manager Roles and Responsibilities, Introduction to School Finance, Introduction to School Operations, Federal Funding and Reporting Systems, and State Funding and Reporting Systems.
