About the Instructor

Patty VerDouw

Patty VerDouw is the oldest of seven children. She graduated from Edgeley High School in 1969 and attended Valley City State College and Dickinson State College. She spent much of the next 20 years as a licensed insurance agent in Minnesota. In 1988, she began a 15 year career with John Deere. Her last assignment there was as manager of office administration for John Deere Credit in Johnston, IA. In that capacity, she oversaw the daily operations of their 267,000 square foot world headquarters as well as the archival and facilities staff. Patty was hired as business manager of the Edgeley School District in from 2002-2014. Patty currently assists with policy at the North Dakota School Boards Association. She has twin sons, Justin and Gregory Goettle, who also graduated from Edgeley Public School in 2008.

 Opt-Out Test

The opt-out test for this class was online and  a 50 question, multiple choice, test. The exam due date was January 16, 2023.

The op-out test is now closed.

 Final Exam

The final exam for this class will be an online, 50 question, multiple choice, test.  You may use your lecture notes and course resources to answer these questions. Once you have completed the exam, click “Show Results.” A screen will appear with your recorded answers and final exam score. The exam due date is May 1, 2023.

The final exam for this course must be proctored by any school administrator, direct supervisor or board member. A proctor verification form must be completed and emailed to by May 1, 2023, to validate the final exam.
