{"id":4934,"date":"2021-11-08T11:09:28","date_gmt":"2021-11-08T17:09:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ndsbmcp.org\/?p=4934"},"modified":"2021-12-08T12:20:50","modified_gmt":"2021-12-08T18:20:50","slug":"registration-now-open-intro-to-accounting-and-intro-to-payroll","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ndsbmcp.org\/index.php\/registration-now-open-intro-to-accounting-and-intro-to-payroll\/","title":{"rendered":"Registration Now Open: Intro to Accounting and Intro to Payroll"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Registration is now open for the following NDSBMCP classes:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Introduction to Accounting <\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Introduction to Payroll<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">To register click <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ndsba.laventurellc.com\/20211103200952\/\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">here<\/span><\/a>. These classes are being offered to both current and graduate students.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">For students taking the classes for the first time, the opt-out test will be made available online from December 15 \u2013 January 2. Registered students will be sent instructions on how to access the course materials by December 15. The cost is $50 for each test. Please only select options 1 and 2 when registering.\u00a0 Students that do not pass the opt-out test will be contacted by me and required to take the online course and pay an additional $100.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Students that do not wish to take the opt-out test must take the online class which will be made available January 3. Class materials will be sent out at that time. The cost for each class is $150.\u00a0 Please only select options 3 and 4 when registering.\u00a0 Class assignments are due by May 15, 2022.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Students retaking a class for continuing education credit will receive a discounted rate and can earn 1.5 credits for each class. Please only selection options 5 and 6 when registering.\u00a0 To receive credit, students will need to submit a paragraph to me at <a style=\"color: #000000;\" href=\"mailto:rebecca.duben@ndsba.org\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">rebecca.duben@ndsba.org<\/span><\/a> on what they learned from retaking the class. Students will be given six months to view the class materials and complete the writing assignment. You do not need to complete the class assignment.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Payment can be made via credit card or check.
