Information on the training can be found below.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Industry Seminar<\/u><\/strong><strong><u><br \/>\n<\/u><\/strong>January 16, 2018<br \/>\nBaymont Inn and Suites, 2611 Old Red Trail, Mandan<\/p>\n<p>You can receive 1.0\u00a0credits for attending the full day.<\/p>\n<p>The training provides general concepts about the procurement of goods, products, and\/or services for School Nutrition Programs.\u00a0 Participants will identify key factors for implementing a fair, open, and cost-effective procurement system that supports compliance with federal, state, and local policies. The USDA will be speaking that afternoon.<\/p>\n<p><em>The USDA is now requiring a special procurement review for every district<\/em>. Procurement is a multi-step process for obtaining goods, products and\/or services at the best possible price.\u00a0 This will be covered at the seminar.<\/p>\n<h2><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ndsbmcp.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/Industry-REGISTRATION-FORM-2017-18.pdf\">REGISTER<\/a><\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>To receive affiliate credits, students must attend the Industry Seminar, have the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ndsbmcp.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/DPI-Industry-Seminary-1-18.pdf\">Affiliate Credit Slip<\/a>\u00a0signed by an event sponsor at the end of the conference, and return it to\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:pattyverdouw@ndsba.org\">Patty VerDouw<\/a>\u00a0at the NDSBA.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The ND School Nutrition Association will be offering a one day training on procurement.
