About the Instructor<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

KrisAnn Norby-Jahner<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

KrisAnn was hired as NDSBA’s General Counsel in August 2024 – charged with managing the Association’s legal and policy services programs. Previously, KrisAnn has 15 years of legal experience, most recently with the Vogel Law Firm, where she specialized in employment and education law.<\/p>\n

Her background includes extensive work with school districts and universities on issues such as policy development, legislative changes, special education processes, and contract negotiations. KrisAnn pursued advanced studies in English and Law and Literature, and has taught at several universities including the University of Minnesota Law School, Hamline University, Kent State University, North Dakota State University, University of Mary, and Bismarck State College.<\/p>\n

Final Exam<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

The final exam for this class will be an online 25 question, multiple choice and T\/F test.<\/strong>\u00a0 You may use your lecture notes and course resources\u00a0to answer these questions. Once you have completed the exam, click\u00a0“Show Results.” A screen will appear\u00a0with your recorded answers and final exam score. The exam due date is April 30, 2025.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The final exam for this course must be proctored by your school administrator, direct supervisor or a board president. A proctor verification form<\/strong><\/a><\/span> must be completed and mailed to the NDSBA or emailed to patty.verdouw@ndsba.org<\/a><\/strong> by April 30, 2025<\/strong>, to validate the final exam.<\/p>\n
